Wednesday Update (hopefully all the pictures work)

Today was a great day for the students. We had our day away, and it was a blessing we chose today. We went up to Lake Michigan and had perfect beach weather, while the church area got poured on for a couple hours.

After the beach, we came back to the church, changed and headed out again to a local dairy. A few of the employees were kind enough to give us a tour and showed us how the milk all 7,000 cows they have three times a day. It was impressive. I think many of the students did struggle with the smell, but I know a few really found it interesting :).

The evening was great again. We learned about an organization with a place here in town called P.E.T. (http://petinternational.org/). This program helps people that have lost the use of their legs through things such as polio or landmines. The people are able to drive these P.E.T's using their arms. The students were able to try a few of them out tonight in a tournament race we set up. They seemed to really enjoy it.

I have some more pictures from yesterday as well as this evening with the P.E.T. project.

Thanks for the prayers. I know the students appreciate them, especially as they head into their final two days of working.
